Not only can thick plates be cut, but it is now also possible to process the smallest holes that were previously impossible! If you have been processing thick plates with a drill, please try laser cutting!

At B.K.T., we have five laser processing machines with outputs ranging from 4 to 15 kW, two of which are particularly excellent for cutting thick plates. The maximum cutting thickness for stainless steel is 50 mm, and thicker cuts can be achieved with our water jet processing machine. Our water jet processing machine can cut not only basic jobs in stainless steel and aluminum but also materials like copper and titanium, regardless of material type or plate thickness. We can also cut materials that are not suitable for laser cutting, such as stainless steel thicker than 50.0 mm and aluminum thicker than 4.0 mm, with clean results. For requests involving copper and aluminum thicker than 5.0 mm, we recommend water jet cutting due to the thermal effects. Compared to conventional laser cutting, we have achieved higher precision in fine processing. In particular, for materials with a thickness of 1.0 mm or less, we have significantly reduced distortion caused by heat. We can accommodate a minimum thickness of 0.01 mm and a minimum slit width of 0.08 mm.
